The 2013 Chevy Camaro, comes with the world-renown performance of a Camaro at a much more modest price. The 2013 model was rated as one of the best “Fast Used Cars under $20,000” by U.S. News — even achieving a performance rating of 7.8/10.

With the distinct Camaro exterior and the ability to drive like a race car, the 2013 Camaro offers impressive value for money. In addition to this, the 2013 model is also considered to be one of the most reliable Chevy Camaro models.

The 2013 Chevy Camaro comes in many different styles

According to Consumer Reports, the 2013 Camaro comes in four different styles. There are the LS Coupe and LT Coupe which both have a 3.6 Liter, V6 Engine capable of 323 hp and are the cheaper Camaro models.

There is also the more expensive SS Coupe which boasts a 6.2 Liter V8 Engine which can produce 426 hp and the ZL1 which has a supercharged, 6.2 Liter V8 Engine capable of 580 hp. The LS and LT models get an estimated 22 MPG and the SS and ZL1 models get an estimated 18 MPG and 16 MPG respectively. 

Furthermore, the LS and LT 2013 Camaro models have a 0-60 mph time of 5.0 second. The faster SS model has an even better 0-60 mph time of 4.0 seconds and the ZL1 model offers a blistering 3.5 seconds 0-60 mph time with a top speed of 198 mph.

Additionally, the critics at Consumer Reports praised the 2013 Camaro’s boast swift and smooth six-speed automatic transmission. All 2013 Camaro’s have a sport mode that allows for more aggressive shifting and faster speeds. 

The different choices keep coming

The 2013 Camaro comes with a variety of packages that boost performance. The 1LE package is available on SS 2013 Camaro Models with manual transmission.

2013 Camaro’s with the 1LE package comes with upgraded gearing, suspension tuning, and tires. In fact, according to Motor Trend, a lot of the features on the 2013 Camaro SS 1LE are from the ZL1 model, giving the SS 1LE a more athletic, powerful drive.

According to Consumer Reports, the 2013 Camaro impressed testers with great handling, excellent braking, great speed, and great value for money. However, some drawbacks of the 2013 Camaro include limited visibility, little space in rear seats, and limited agility.

Overall, the 2013 Camaro is a great, high-performance sports car with not many drawbacks. With prices starting at $11,640 (according to U.S. News), the 2013 Camaro truly offers high performance at a relatively affordable price point.
