If you’re looking to spice up your current pickup truck with some upgrades, a custom truck grille is the first place to go. It’s usually inexpensive and won’t require cutting or mangling your truck’s exterior to install one. Custom designs work with your pickup’s make, model, and year, so you can find one that fits right and does exactly what you want it to do.

We often consider the grille the “face” of the truck, giving it human characteristics. When you install a different design on the front end, you’re changing its personality, so to speak. If your current truck is offering a nice sleek design a rugged grille look will transform it into a muscle pickup ready to take on the world. Here are some of the more popular custom grilles available.

Westin HDX LED mesh grille

This mesh grille is made from 16 gauge steel and with a coating that resists rust and corrosion. Installation is quick and easy. You simply need to put in a few bolts and it’s good to go.

The features that set it apart from others is its rugged good looks as well as a light bar that stretches across the center of the grille. This allows for extra illumination with off-road travel. The strong mesh material offers plenty of protection for your front end.

T-Rex X-Metal grille

Made from 304 stainless steel material, this custom truck grille will come in either a chrome mirror-like finish or a black powdered one. It’s custom-built to your truck’s make and model and has the iconic X-Metal emblem adorning the center of the grille.

You can also choose to have chrome studs or black studs to add another dimension to the mesh and metal design. If you’re looking to get noticed, this grille will transform your truck into one powerful looking machine.

Putco Punch grille

The Putco Punch grille is a custom design that’s precision cut into heavy gauge material. Instead of a simple mesh, they punch a customized pattern out of the NeveRust stainless steel non-corrosion sheet. What makes this one stand out is that it doesn’t involve removing your manufactured grille to install it.

It simply bolts onto your existing front end, covering the old grille and keeping it in good shape for when you decide to trade the truck down the road. Also, you don’t have to cover up your truck’s automaker’s emblem. The grille will install around it, so you simply enhance it instead of hiding it.

RBP Billet grille

RBP stands for Rolling Big Power. That’s the perfect way to describe this grille design. With three different patterns to choose from, you’ll transform your truck from normal to a big rolling machine.

People will wonder if you just bought a new pickup, even though you only installed a new grille. The three grille options all come from 100% stainless steel metal that withstands all weather conditions, making it last a long time.

With the RL series you get a smooth, but classic design while the Rx is more rugged in how it looks on your truck. The RX-2 is like the RX version, except that it has extra studded framing located in the center.

Carriage Works Billet grille

The Carriage Works is a simple, but sleek design. It’s made from 6061 T-6 aircraft quality material that’s made on our own home turf. It’s one of the highest quality made grilles available. Protection is no problem with this handcrafted design that’s customized to your specific truck.

That includes those who need matching grilles for their front center bumper area as well. The finish will be your choice of black, mirror, or polished metal. Installation is easy and will take 30 minutes or less to accomplish.
