It’s so commonplace to see A-list celebrities in flashy luxury SUVs and supercars that it’s borderline cliche. However, some celebs, namely adrenaline seekers, prefer to find catharsis on two wheels. Check out five A-list motorcycle riders who would rather be on a Harley-Davidson or Ducati than driving, like Jason Momoa and Keanu Reeves.

Many celebrities stock their garages with BMW roadsters and Audi super sedans. However, these five stars are perfectly content hitting the open road on motorcycles.

  • Jason Momoa
  • Ryan Reynolds
  • Tom Cruise
  • Keanu Reeves
  • Ewan McGregor

Jason Momoa rides motorcycles on and off screen

“Aquaman” star and recent “Fast” franchise villain Jason Momoa has a reputation for riding. He has partnered with Harley-Davidson to promote the Milwaukee marque’s motor clothes sales. However, the relationship goes beyond modeling; Momoa has several classic Harleys in his repertoire, including three EL WISCO choppers.

What’s more, Momoa rides a custom Harley-Davidson in the “Fast X,” the latest film in the namesake franchise. Whether riding on screen or the streets of Los Angeles, Momoa loves surfing the pavement on two wheels.

Ryan Reynolds finds catharsis on motorcycles

“You can’t do anything on a bike, except ride and breathe,” Reynolds said in Bryan Rowland’s short film about the actor and riding. Reynolds is referring to the meditative nature of riding. It’s a pull that millions of riders can’t live without. It’s also the pull that prompted Reynolds to commission a custom build for his Triumph Thruxton 900.

Of course, the Dustin Kott Triumph build isn’t the only bike in the A-list celebrity’s garage. He owns several bikes, including a breathtaking Paul Smart Ducati.

Tom Cruise is an A-list celebrity with a substantial motorcycle collection

OK, so Tom Cruise making a list of celebrity motorcycle riders isn’t surprising. After all, the “Mission Impossible” franchise star has piloted powerful bikes on movie sets around the world, including the iconic scene from “Top Gun” wherein Cruise rides a Kawasaki GPZ900R alongside a climbing F-14 Tomcat.

Of course, Cruise isn’t shy about his toy box. He even flew his personal P-51 Mustang on screen to promote “Top Gun: Maverick.”

Keanu Reeves loves motorcycles so much that he co-founded a bike brand

Keanu Reeves loves his motorcycles. So much so, that instead of simply amassing a collection of mighty bikes, he became a partner in the LA-based motorcycle builder ARCH Motorcycles. The brand creates bespoke sport cruisers with big-displacement V-twin S&S engines. Imagine a Harley-Davidson copied a sport bike’s homework. That’s what Reeves and ARCH are up to.

Ewan McGregor has several motorcycle-focused travel specials

Ewan McGregor, Scottish A-list celebrity and famed motorcycle rider, tends to take his riding beyond commutes and casual weekend rides. McGregor and his riding buddy, Charley Boorman, have a library of motorcycle adventure documentaries cataloging rides that span continents.

At home, McGregor is a Moto Guzzi brand ambassador and an avid collector. Moreover,  Twisted Road reports that the Scottish actor has one of the famed Indian Larry bikes.
