Buying an RV is more complicated than buying a car for a few reasons. For one, you likely don’t live in your car with your family. These are Class A RVs and campers, which means they are larger and don’t need a tow.

The recreational vehicles below come in gas or diesel options and offer a lot of luxury. These are not the airstream towable RVs we might be used to seeing. The options below are more like penthouse condos on wheels.

The Newmar 2021 Bay Star Sport RV is big, luxurious, and has it all. And for the price, it better. The 2021 Bay Star Sport gas camper starts at $135,702.

The Bay Star Sport is built on the Ford F-Series Class A Motorhome chassis and has a 7.3L V8. It gets 350 hp and 468 lb ft of torque. But it is 30 pounds lighter than the 2020 model, so have no fear!

It comes with eight different floor plan options. All of the floor plans include a queen size bed and range from 27′ to 33′ in size. The Ford TorqShift automatic overdrive transmission makes scooting around the country as easy as pie for breakfast on your RV patio.

2021 Tiffin Open Road Allegro camper

The Tiffin Open Road Allegro has the same engine as the Bay Star Sport, a Ford V8 7.3L that gets 350 hp. It has traction control and hydraulic automatic leveling jacks. It comes in lengths from 32′ to 38′ long, making it a pretty big option.

The 36′ UA option even comes with bunk beds! You can pick out a king or a queen-size bed, plus a variety of interior and exterior paint schemes. This one starts at $173,462.

2021 Newmar Mountain Aire

The 2021 Newmar Mountain Aire comes equipped with a 500 hp Cummins diesel engine and Comfort Drive adaptive steering. It also has tire pressure monitoring, OnGuard collision mitigation technology, and electronic stability control.

The chassis is the new Spartan K3 Tag Axle with 1,695 lb ft of torque to get you wherever you need to go. It offers air conditioning, heat pumps, and wall-mounted sensors to keep you comfortable. All of the floor plans offer a king bed, a TV on a power lift, and a 50×34 or 40×32 shower.

The Mountain Aire starts at a reasonable $640,947.

2021 Tiffin Zephyr

Looking for your penthouse on wheels? Look no further. The 2021 Tiffin Zephyr is huge. It comes in 45′ in length and has a PowerGlide XSP Cummins ISX with 605 hp and 1950 lb ft of torque.

It offers electronic stability control, OnGuard collision mitigation system, blind-spot monitoring, and independent front suspension. The Zephyr has a full stacked washer and dryer, 360-degree camera system, and has a 20,000-pound tow rating.

The Zephyr comes with a 10-year, 50,000-mile construction limited warranty. A 5 year, 50,000-mile delimitation limited warranty, one-year coach roadside service, and owner support.

One of the bigger RVs for sale, this one starts at $687,763.
