The RAV4 Hybrid achieves an incredible 41 miles per gallon in the city and 38 miles per gallon on the highway. It’s a great option for drivers looking to save money at the pump. Toyota began producing Highlander models way back in the year 2000. Two decades later, the Highlander has become a staple in the midsize SUV segment because it’s reliable and ages well. The Highlander is a great family midsize SUV, but the Highlander Hybrid improves on its design by giving it incredible gas mileage.

The 2022 Toyota Highlander Hybrid starts at $39,555. It costs $3,700 more than the gas Highlander. Toyota’s Highlander Hybrid gets 36 miles per gallon combined. That’s 11 more miles per gallon than the gas Highlander. The Highlander Hybrid gets about 168 more miles of driving range per full tank of gas than the Highlander.

Kelley Blue Book praises the Highlander Hybrid’s many standard features and resale value. Toyota gave its popular midsize SUV the fuel economy of a small SUV by equipping it with a hybrid powertrain. This makes the iconic SUV perfect for road trips and long drives.

The 2023 Toyota Sequoia starts at $58,300. It uses a twin-turbocharged 3.4-liter V6 engine and an electric motor to make 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque. The Sequoia is one of the largest SUVs to ever get a standard hybrid powertrain. RoadShow by CNET compliments its new design language and powerful powertrain system.

The Sequoia gets 21 miles per gallon in the city and 24 miles per gallon on the highway. It gets at least seven more miles per gallon than the previous Sequoia model year.
