Even though trucks have become more and more expensive over the years, there are still some deals to be found out there. And that is especially true if you are willing to look towards the used market. According to Autotrader, these might be some of the best used truck deals that you can find.

Are there any cheap trucks left?

In recent years, the average transaction price of a new pickup truck has climbed to over $60k. And to say the least, that is not cheap. Thankfully, there are still some pickups out there that can be found on a budget. And you can even get something that is reliable as well.

These trucks range from midsize pickups to full-size trucks. And according to Autotrader, even in 2023, you should be able to find a good deal on them.

3. 2010 Ford F-150

The Ford F-150 is no secret in the pickup truck market. It has long been one of the best-selling vehicles in the United States. In 2010, the F-150 did have some issues, but it can be a reliable pick overall.

One of the perks of this vehicle is the sheer number of available trims and powertrain options. Pretty much no matter your needs, it is likely that a 2010 Ford F-150 can handle them. In a perfect world, you would be able to get one with less than 100,000 miles on the clock. But because of its age, at this point, that might be difficult.

2. 2017 Honda Ridgeline

There’s no getting around the fact that the Honda Ridgeline is not a popular truck. Still, according to Vehicle History, the 2017 Ridgeline might be the best. Now, I’m originally from rural Kansas; I do understand that trucks are important to folks. But if you live in a city and don’t actually do truck stuff, sometimes a full-size pickup can be pretty inconvenient.

The Honda Ridgeline gets you a standard V6 engine and all-wheel drive. Plus, you get a fairly comfortable ride. It might ride on a unibody platform, but it still offers decent towing capacity at around 5,000 lbs.

1. 2013 Toyota Tundra

Much like the F-150, the Toyota Tundra is this brand’s full-size pickup. It’s been around for some time, meaning plenty of used versions are out there to choose from. The 2013 Tundra can tow over 10,000 pounds and offers a V8 engine. If you opt for the 5.7-liter V8, you can get well over 300 hp.

Not every year of the Tundra is reliable. And it is important to note that some models do have some serious recalls, specifically with the airbags. Another issue that can face an older Toyota truck is rust.

Corrosion is not as prominent on newer pickup trucks from this brand, but it is still something to look out for. The last thing you want is to put your money down on a pickup truck that is about to have its life cut short.
