The highly controversial Honda Ridgeline is back for another year! It’s disputed because some truck drivers allege that it’s not a real truck, but a majority of critics rank it as the best truck to buy. But the real quarrel involves the 2024 Honda Ridgeline’s price tag.

How much does the 2024 Honda Ridgeline cost?

The price of the 2024 Honda Ridgeline starts at $40,175 and the $1,375 destination fee brings the total up to $41,550. The Trailsport trim increases the price to $46,105 and the Black Edition begins at $47,725. It costs $970 more than the entry-level 2023 model.

This feels pretty steep, even during this current day and age where truck prices are rampaging out of control. While the Ridgeline is comfortable, advanced, and high-quality, it’s not considered to be a luxury vehicle.

The 2024 GMC Canyon is the only luxury truck in its class and it starts at $36,000. Why is the Ridgeline over $4,000 more expensive? We know that the Ridgeline includes standard AWD, but the typical AWD system costs under $4,000 to add.

We’re still waiting for the official price of the 2024 Jeep Gladiator, which could be similar in price. It has standard 4×4.

The 2024 Ford Ranger starts at 32.565, the 2024 Nissan Frontier begins at $29,770, the 2024 Toyota Tacoma rings in at $31,500, and the 2024 Chevy Colorado starts at $29,500. So, the Ridgeline is on the expensive side of the spectrum.

What comes standard with the 2024 Ridgeline?

The 2024 Honda Ridgeline has a standard 3.5-liter V6 engine with 280 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque. It’s paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and AWD. It can tow up to 5,000 lbs.
