All Sequoia models are powered by an iForce MAX hybrid system, which generates a total system output of 437 hp/583 lb-ft of torque. In comparison, the 2022 Ford Expedition offers three variants of a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 engine. The standard version produces 380 hp/470 lb-ft of torque, while the optional versions generate 400 hp/480 lb-ft of torque and 440 hp/510 lb-ft of torque.

On the towing front, the Expedition has a slight edge. It has a maximum towing capacity of 9,300 pounds, compared to 9,000 pounds for the Sequoia.
