Jeep offers five 2023 Renegade trims, starting with the $28,400 Latitude. After that, there’s the $29,200 Upland. It’s similar to the base model but adds exterior styling upgrades. For example, it sports different front and rear fascias and a unique hood decal.Â

That’s particularly true regarding their powertrains. The Renegade has only one powertrain configuration, a 1.3-liter turbo four-cylinder making 177 hp and 210 lb-ft of torque. It pairs with a nine-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. This setup allows the Jeep to get about 26 mpg combined. The engine also allows the SUV to tow about 2,000 pounds.
The Latitude is practical on the inside too. It maxes out at 50.8 cubic feet of cargo capacity, about average for a subcompact crossover. It also only offers one touchscreen, an 8.4-inch display that’s standard across all trims. The base model also has cloth seats and a six-speaker sound system. And advanced safety features include forward collision warning, blind-spot warning, and trailer sway damping.
