All of the engines are paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Also, buyers of the Suburban have a choice of a rear-wheel drive system or a traction-enhancing four-wheel drive system. 2023 Suburban offers Super Cruise driving assistance technology

The most significant addition to the Chevy Suburban for the 2023 model year is Super Cruise, a hands-free driving assistance technology. Super Cruise, for use on compatible highways, aids the driver with such things as changing lanes and trailering. It will be available for the Suburban Premier and High Country trims. Something to keep in mind, though, is the semiconductor shortage crisis might limit or delay the availability of Super Cruise for the Suburban.

Beyond the addition of Super Cruise, the 2023 Suburban doesn’t have many other changes. The SUV offers three new exterior paint color options: Sterling Gray Metallic, Silver Sage Metallic, and Radiant Red Tintcoat. Also, the LS, LT, RST, and Premier trims offer an accessory black grille with “CHEVROLET” lettering.

All of the new model year changes, including the newly available Super Cruise, affect the mechanically similar 2023 Chevy Tahoe. As more information becomes available for the 2023 Chevy Suburban SUV, we’ll provide updates.
