What car lasts the longest?

The Toyota Avalon shows the greatest longevity among popular sedans and hatchbacks. According to iSeeCars’ study, 1% of Avalons on the road have around 245,710 miles. That puts the Avalon about 15,000 miles ahead of the nearest competitor from the last 20 model years, the Chevrolet Impala. Specifically, the second-place Chevrolet Impala has an average of around 230,343 miles.

Moreover, the Avalon is also one of the top 15 long-lasting cars in the country, with a sizable percentage of models still running at over 200,000 miles. The Toyota Avalon boasts 3.9% of vehicles last longer than the 200,000-mile benchmark. That’s good news for Avalon owners, considering the Toyota model has excellent longevity figures and top safety scores from the NHTSA and IIHS.

What cars are still reliable after 100k miles?

In addition to the Toyota Avalon and Chevrolet Impala, eight other long-lasting cars can go the distance. The Honda Accord and Toyota Camry have potential lifespans of 226,168 and 223,249 miles, respectively. Also, the Lexus GS 350 and Honda Fit both promise an average of over 207,000 miles.

Moreover, the Honda Civic, Lexus ES 350, Toyota Corolla, and Mazda6 all return over 200,000-mile lifespans. However, compared to the top 20, only one of the long-lasting gas-powered cars from the last 20 years, the Toyota Avalon, made the list.

Which brands of car last the longest?

In iSeeCars’ longevity study, Toyota dominated the long-lasting car game. The marque produced half of the vehicles with the greatest potential lifespans. For instance, the Toyota Sequoia, Prius, Avalon, Camry Hybrid, and Land Cruiser all had over 230,000 miles on average. In addition to Toyota, Honda, GMC, Chevrolet, Ford, and Nissan are represented in the longest-lasting car brands.

Moreover, iSeeCars Executive Analyst Karl Brauer said, “this study isn’t reporting the maximum lifespan of these vehicles.” “Most of these cars are still in use and going strong,” Brauer said about the vehicles. While most of these cars have figures over 200,000 miles, many of them have the potential to go even further with proper care and maintenance.

Can cars last 300,000 miles?

Cars can last well over 300,000 miles if owners take good care of them. However, most vehicles with the highest probability of eclipsing that mileage benchmark are SUVs and trucks. For instance, 1% of Toyota Sequoia models have around 296,509 miles. Also, the Chevrolet Suburban has an average of about 265,732 miles.
