It’s time to consider what makes the 2022 Hyundai SUVs some of the top options available. According to U.S.News, the Hyundai dominates as the 2023 Best SUV Brand for the third year in a row. 

Hyundai has defeated popular Jeep SUVs, Ford SUVs, and even highly-rated Toyota SUVs multiple times because it offers a wide variety of models to meet the demands of different buyers, such as gas-powered, hybrid, and electric vehicles. 

Olabisi Boyle, vice president of product planning and mobile strategy for Hyundai Motor North America, shared that winning U.S.News & World Report 2023 Best SUV Brand for the third consecutive year is very gratifying. Hyundai has diligently worked to exceed SUV buyer needs. 

Hyundai SUVs have powerful and clean powertrains, abundant advanced technologies, innovative designs, and comprehensive safety features to satisfy SUV buyers with success. 

Jim Sharifi, Managing Editor, U.S.News, explained that automakers are recognized with Best Brand Vehicle awards for producing the SUVs, trucks, cars, or luxury vehicles that best match consumer interest. 

There is a Hyundai SUV available for every buyer, with models that range from the compact Venue and Tucson to the mid-size Santa Fe to the luxurious Palisade. Hyundai SUV models also offer the latest driver assistance and infotainment tech at an accessible price. 

How many Hyundai SUV models are available? 

There are seven 2022 Hyundai SUVs available that range in price and size to meet different driver needs. For example, the Hyundai Venue is an excellent compact adventurer for the city, and the luxurious Hyundai Palisade offers three rows for family comfort. 

The Hyundai Venue kicks things off as the smallest and most affordable option, ringing in at $19,000. It has plenty of cargo space for daily use with an excellent fuel economy and modern tech. 

Check out the 2022 Hyundai Kona, which begins at around $21,300. It’s slightly larger and more powerful with an N-Line model. It has a gas, hybrid, and an electric powertrain with a smooth ride and confident handling. 

The 2022 Hyundai Tucson joins the party as a larger option. It starts at about $24,950 with more space for families. You can access the gas, hybrid, or plug-in hybrid powertrain options. Also, the rugged XRT trim enhances its off-roading capabilities. 

Don’t forget about the 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz, which is basically a Tucson in truck form. It starts at $24,440 and offers an upgraded turbo-charged gas-powered engine. The Santa Cruz can tow up to 5,000 lbs with the added practicality of a truck bed. 

The 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5 is a mind-blowing SUV with plenty of speed and range. Plus, it offers fast charging times and is available with all-wheel drive. Unique features such as built-in footrests make it stand out. 

What are the larger Hyundai SUVs? 

The bigger 2022 Hyundai SUVs include the Santa Fe and the Palisade. The 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe isn’t a three-row mid-size option, but it offers more space and starts at $27,000. 

It has gas-powered, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid powertrains available. It’s a family favorite because it has a long list of standard tech, comfort, and safety features. 

The 2022 Hyundai Palisade is the top-spec model and provides more space for families with a third row. It also offers the most luxury while only starting at $36,600. It has an upscale interior, is loaded with advanced tech, and the standard 3.8-liter V6 engine cranks out 291 hp. 

Each Hyundai SUV caters to individual needs with solid reliability ratings and numerous engine options. There is something for each lifestyle.
