Elder Ordonez is a fashion, news, and celebrity photographer based in New York City. He’s got a pretty hefty social media following, and often shares images and clips he catpures out and about. He once came across Harrison Ford stuck in traffic, and filmed him getting out of his Mercedes to do something about it.
Harrison Ford yells and waves cars out of a jam
“This wasn’t a movie,” Ordonez claims, “It was real!” The photographer explains that Ford’s chauffeur, operating a black Mercedes, got stuck in a narrow tunnel leading to East 46th Street.
After some time, Ford decided enough was enough.
He got out of the luxury sedan and started directing cars to back out of the Midtown Manhattan tunnel. The actor yelled and waved the vehicles to rejoin general traffic to the right of the jam.
Once his driver was out of the tunnel, Ford hopped back into the sedan and off he went.
The comments are hilarious
Here are a few responses from followers:
“Indiana Jones and The Tunnel of Doom.”
“It’s not that kind of tunnel, kid.”
“I could not handle Harrison Ford yelling at me, I’d be ashamed, feeling like I let him down.”
“You’re all clear kid now let’s detour this tunnel and go home!!
Some who seemed local confirmed that this type of act is actually positive for the city.
“So, when people are like, “am I a newyorker yet”? Part of it is knowing how to handle a situation. Not for clout, not for likes, but to help others, and because we ain’t got no time for this.”
“He parallel parked for my aunt once on the Upper East Side! True story!”
Ordonez makes sure to point out that this Harrison Ford video is from a few years back. Still, the clip earned a collective hundreds of thousands of views in the last couple of days.
