These are tough times right now. The COVID-19 pandemic has forced many into looking at their life and making some changes. Take Australia’s Renee Gracie for instance. She started as a teenager giving it her all as the first full-time female Supercars touring car driver. Her big dream was to race in the US with the NASCAR circuit. But in what anyone would consider an extreme 180-degree change the Supercar star has called it quits for porn instead.

Back in 2015 Gracie joined an all-female Supercar team. The Australian Supercars are very much like NASCAR in the US, but any motorsports fans consider it better. Flinging the V8 sedans around the track there are a lot of lead changes and generally exciting racing.

Entering the Bathurst 1000 V8 Supercar event nicknamed the “Devil Princess” she was living her dream of racing full-time. But her performance there the next year was less than successful. She finished in 14th place. The rest of the 2016 season her racing performances were a bit underwhelming.

At some point during the 2017 season, she was replaced by another team member. Forced to look for work she stuck with cars working at a wrecking yard. That’s when she started sharing nude photos of herself online according to Australia’s Daily Telegraph. Over 30 million users are on the porn site which boasts about 18,000 performers.

Her racing days were over and so were her financial problems. “I pretty much do everything,” she told the Telegraph. “I do whatever it is people request. I sell those photos and people tip me. I have been able to pay for a house. I have a 30-year loan that I am about to pay off in 12 months.” Her take is over $150,000 a month based on the monthly $12.95 fee.

And what about the 25-year-old’s dream of becoming a Supercar superstar? “I got over it and realized I wasn’t good enough and moved on,” she said. “I have no interest in going back. Racing cars in my eyes is not the pinnacle of what I have done. What I am doing right now, I would rather do than race around Bathurst.”

What does the Supercar organization have to say about Gracie’s newfound fame and success? They’re being mum. “Supercars is aware of the article regarding former Super2 driver Renee Gracie,” a spokesman said. “As Ms. Gracie is no longer competing in Super2, Supercars will not be commenting further.”

After her first interview about her career move, Gracie says her fortunes really improved. Subscriptions to her fansite increased by 5,000 people almost overnight. “I knew things would be leaked, I knew it would be controversial, I knew all of that,” she says. “I did all the research and made the decision to do it. In my first six days I made $24,000 US and that is when I realized I could really do something with this,” Gracie added.
