If you need a bus, the Chevrolet Tahoe is a solid three-row option to consider. But big SUVs come with big price tags. The 2024 Chevy Tahoe isn’t breaking this popular trend and actually just went up in price.

How much does the 2024 Chevy Tahoe cost?

The 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe has an MSRP of $56,200. The 2023 model starts at $54,200. Each model across the lineup has at least a $2,000 increase.

Plus, the destination fee increased by $100 to $1,995. The destination charge increases the starting price to $58,195.

The top-spec High Country trim takes the price up to $77,395 with the destination fee included. Adding AWD adds $3,000 to each trim.

Upgrading to the 6.2-liter V8 engine with 420 hp and 460 lb-ft costs $2,100 on most trims, but it’s $2,600 more on the High Country model.

As of today (12.28/2023) there are 2023 Tahoe models in stock with roughly the same features available at a lower price.

What’s new for the 2024 Tahoe?

The 2024 Chevy Tahoe is almost 100% a carryover model. There are extremely minor changes to note. For example, some paint colors like Aubrun Metallic have been deleted.

So, the big price changes don’t really make sense unless it’s related to supply and demand, rising inflation, and supply chain constraints.

It could be an attempt to take the sting out of the 2025 Chevy Tahoe’s price increase. We don’t know the official pricing yet, but it has a mid-cycle refresh.

The 2025 Tahoe has a new face with thinner LED headlights, a larger grille, and a refreshed front bumper. There are new shades of paint, updated 24.0-inch wheel designs, and a revamped rear end.

Plus, the restyled interior features a standard 17.7-inch infotainment system and an 11.1-inch digital gauge cluster.

The turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six Durmax diesel engine now provides 305 hp and 495 lb-ft of torque. This is an increase of 38 horses and 35 lb-ft of torque.

Also, the suspension has been revised to provide more comfort, and air springs are available with more trim levels.

So, prices for the 2024 Tahoe don’t include a lot of updates, but the 2025 model has a host of exciting upgrades.
