U.S. News released a list of the Best Hybrid and Electric Cars for 2021, and the 2021 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid found itself a spot at the very top of the list. U.S. News’ Best Hybrid and Electric Cars for 2021 

U.S. News has over 75 years in the automobile industry and has been reviewing and ranking models since 2007. U.S. News’ reputable and trustworthy reputation are one of the many reasons drivers turn to the platform for guidance, help, or simply inspiration. Many people were excited to see U.S. News revealed their professional take on the top hybrid and electric car models for the upcoming year. 

The 2021 Toyota Prius Prime was one of the cars to make the list. The hybrid’s extensive safety features are an absolute plus. It definitely seems like Toyota knows a thing or two about crafting eco-friendly vehicles. The Corolla Hybrid was another one of Toyota’s models celebrated in “Best Hybrid and Electric Cars for 2021”. Toyota’s new Corolla Hybrid is well-known for its impressive reliability ratings and exceptional fuel economy.

Honda’s 2021 Insight landed a spot smack dab in the middle. The Accord Hybrid was another one of Honda’s automobiles acknowledged for its remarkable price and performance. The 2021 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid wasn’t named No. 1 in Hybrid and Electric Cars by accident. U.S. News carefully reviewed and shared why the model was such a hit. The Sonata’s phenomenal fuel efficiency and sleek aesthetic are a few of the reasons U.S. News’ gave the well-liked model an overall score of 8.7.

The Hyundai Sonata Hybrid comes equipped with standard infotainment and safety tech features that make driving and navigating the model a breeze. The high-quality materials found on the inside of the 2021 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid are a testimony to the vehicle’s modern and sharp image. 

When looking at the cons of the model they are far and few between. The 2021 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid’s regenerative brakes cause poor pedal feedback. Other than that, some people may have been disappointed to see that Hyundai didn’t opt for any major changes from the 2021 Sonata’s predecessor
