The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is a compact crossover SUV model produced and sold by the Mitsubishi Motors Corporation. It is sized and priced between the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport and Outlander SUV models.

The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross began with the XR-PHEV and XR-PHEV II concept models that debuted in 2013 and 2015, respectively. Finally, the production version of the Eclipse Cross premiered at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. A diesel version was introduced in 2019, followed by a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version in 2020, although the diesel variant is not available in the U.S.

Named after (but unrelated to) the Mitsubishi Eclipse sports car, the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is still in its first generation but received a facelift for the 2020 model year. Its top competitors in the compact crossover SUV field include the Chevy Equinox, the Ford Escape, the Honda CR-V, the Subaru Forester, the Toyota RAV4, and the Volkswagen Tiguan.
