Police body cam shows a raccoon in a parked car with 2 meth pipes
Inner-city police officers see a lot. But they likely don’t often see a raccoon brandishing his latest treasured find in a nasty parked car. Especially when that treasure is not one, but two meth pipes. And the police body cam footage is nothing short of straight-up comedy.
A raccoon greeted a police officer while he searched a parked car by showing the cop his two treasures: a set of meth pipes
Raccoons are gatherers. Given the opportunity, they’d very happily subsist on a trash can or dumpster chock-a-block with food scraps and other essentials. That’s precisely why a car with an open window is practically an invitation to the resourceful little mammals. Once inside, they’ll find all sorts of things. Leftovers, valuables, and yes, even meth pipes.
A police body cam shows an officer pointing and gesturing at a dark red sedan in a lot. It’s in a pretty dismal state, brimming with plastic bags and trash. The cop didn’t find a human occupant in the driver’s seat, either. Instead, he found a raccoon, clutching a frosted white pipe presumably used for drugs like meth.
A moment later, the police officer relieves the little critter of his pipe. But, as if to show off, the raccoon produced another one, this time clear glass. The police officer was in hysterics when the raccoon handled the pipe like a person might.
As you might expect, the social media commentary was complete silliness. One popular comment referenced the “Guardians of the Galaxy” franchise and a raccoon-based character. “S*** went downhill for Rocket after Guardians 3,” the commenter said. Yikes. Another commenter replied, “Not the fact he took one and the raccoon brings out the 2nd pipe.”
Like I said, the so-called “trash pandas” gather things. It’s one of the reasons the critters were trying to break into parked Tesla Cybertrucks. They reportedly mistook the angular EV pickup trucks for dumpsters and committed to breaking in. Hopefully, though, this little furry character gets the help he needs. Check out the video below!
