The Cadillac XT6 is the American luxury brand’s entry into a competitive segment of midsize three-row luxury SUVs. It competes with the likes of the Acura MDX, Lincoln Aviator, and the all-new Lexus TX. The XT6 boasts a spacious interior with plenty of room for passengers and cargo, a generous list of standard features, and reasonable pricing for its class.

The Cadillac XT6 is available in three trims and has two engine options. Let’s look at the configuration possibilities in the XT6 lineup and what you can expect to pay for each build.

The base 2024 Cadillac XT6 Luxury trim level

The 2024 Cadillac XT6 has a starting MSRP of $48,795. That gets you the base Luxury trim with the standard turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 237 horsepower. Front-wheel drive is standard and all-wheel drive is optional.

The standard features for the money is one of the strong suits of the XT6. Standard features include three-row seating for up to seven, tip/slide/pitch easy entry making it easier to climb in and out of the third row, 18-inch alloy wheels, an UltraView power sunroof, an 8-inch touchscreen, six USB ports, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, heated front seats, automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, and rear cross-traffic alert.

While the Luxury trim is a good value, the base engine isn’t very popular. That’s why more buyers spring for the Premium Luxury trim. This is where the 3.6-liter V6 engine with 310 horsepower comes standard. On top of the engine upgrade, the Premium Luxury model adds 20-inch wheels, navigation, a Bose Performance Series 14-speaker premium audio system, and a hands-free power liftgate.

In addition to getting more standard features, the Premium Luxury trim opens up more options you can’t get on the base model. One of the most popular is second-row captain’s chairs, which is only an $800 upgrade. A Technology Package adds a rear camera mirror, an 8-inch digital gauge cluster, automatic parking assist, a head-up display, and a 360-degree camera, and a Driver Assist Package adds more safety features like adaptive cruise control. For drivers with the budget for a more luxurious SUV, the Platinum Package adds semi-aniline leather seating, premium carpeted floor mats, a performance suspension system, and a heated steering wheel.

Perhaps most importantly, this is where the Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving system becomes available. The sophisticated Super Cruise system allows for hands-free driving on highways mapped by Cadillac. For the XT6, this includes about 200,000 miles of highways in North America.

How much is a fully loaded 2024 Cadillac XT6 Sport?

The top trim level in the 2024 Cadillac XT6 lineup is the Sport model, which starts at $60,295. Naturally, the 310-hp V6 engine comes standard. Performance upgrades include a performance suspension system, a unique sport-tuned AWD system, and Brembo front brakes. You also get a special appearance package with a mesh grille and black trim.

That price can climb quickly when you start adding options. Throw in expensive features like premium paint, the Platinum Package, Super Cruise, Night Vision, and anything else you can add, and the price crosses the $83,000 mark, including the $1,395 destination fee.

Over $80k for a Cadillac SUV that isn’t an Escalade might seem like a lot. However, considering what you’re getting for the money and the pricing of competing midsize luxury SUVs, that pricing sounds about right. The Lincoln Aviator Black Label is also over $80k, and the German rivals of the XT6 can get much pricier.
