The 2024 Buick Envista is an all-new small crossover SUV. In typical Buick fashion, it straddles the line between mainstream and luxury, often categorized as ‘premium.’ Slotted below the Buick Encore GX, the Envista boasts competitive pricing and a coupe-like profile. It’s a new design language for the brand that we expect to see expand through the lineup, first debuting with the 2024 Buick Encore GX model.

Due to its compact size, the Buick Envista SUV is still pretty affordable across all trim levels, even when fully loaded. Let’s look at the pricing for this new SUV, which can fit into the budget of a wide range of drivers.

How much is the base trim of the Envista?

The 2024 Buick Envista has a starting MSRP of $22,400 for the base Preferred trim. That’s before the $1,095 destination fee that applies to all Envista models. Every Envista is powered by a 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine rated at 136 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. Front-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive isn’t available.

Standard features on the Preferred trim include what Buick calls the “Ultrawide” 11-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control, a flat-bottom steering wheel, cloth and leatherette seating, 17-inch aluminum wheels, and LED headlights.

The standard Buick Driver Confidence package bundles safety tech features like automatic emergency braking, a following distance indicator, lane-keep assist, and automatic high beams. An Advanced Safety Package available for the two lower trims adds adaptive cruise control and blind-spot monitoring with lane-change and rear cross-traffic alerts.

Upgrading to the mid-range Sport Touring trim starts at $24,100. That modest price increase adds a sporty appearance package, with 18-inch high-gloss black-painted wheels, LED-accented taillights, and “ST” embroidery on the front headrests.

How much does a fully-loaded Buick Envista Avenir cost?

The top Avenir trim of the 2024 Buick Envista starts at $28,600. The Envista Avenir is a more premium SUV than the lower trims. It adds features like 19-inch wheels with a Pearl Nickel finish, a power liftgate, heated front seats, a power driver’s seat, a heated steering wheel, and a wireless charging pad.

The top trim still has a few additional options you can add for an extra cost. The White Frost Tricoat paint costs $600, and the optional moonroof adds $795. An Avenir Advanced Safety Package is available for $795. It adds adaptive cruise control, lane-change alert with blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, rain-sensing wipers, and power, heated mirrors with turn signal indicators, and driver-side auto-dimming.

That brings the price of a fully-loaded Buick Envista Avenir with options and the destination fee to $31,885. That’s a very affordable price for an upscale SUV. If you have a budget in the low $30k range, a fully loaded Envista is an excellent value in its class.

What Envista trim is the best value?

With three trim levels available for the 2024 Buick Envista, car critics are spit on which build they prefer.

Edmunds notes that shoppers are most interested in the base Preferred trim but hasn’t written its own review yet. Car and Driver‘s overview of the Envista states that the top Avenir trim is the favorite of the site’s testers, citing the premium features it provides for a relatively low upgrade charge and overall cost. Meanwhile, Autotrader picks the middle-option Sport Touring trim for its nice balance of price and features. The 2024 Buick Envista Sport Touring starts at under $25,000, comes with adaptive cruise control and blind-spot monitoring, and has plenty of optional add-ons for those interested.
