The world of trucks has exploded in popularity recently, including the new 2022 Honda Ridgeline truck. The 2022 Ridgeline truck comes in four trim levels: Sport, RTL, RTL-E, and the Black Edition. Kelley Blue Book says the RTL and RTL-E make up about 60% of all Ridgeline sales, making these the most popular truck options. Which Honda truck is right for you?

If you are in the market for a newly redesigned truck, the 2022 Honda Ridgeline has you covered. Kelley Blue Book took a look at the new offerings of the Ridgeline, and the RTL trim seems like a good buy. The RTL trim starts at $40,620, $2,980 more than the base level trim.

With this trim level, buyers get leather upholstery inside, a new power moonroof, and a power sliding rear window. It also gets power front sears and a leather steering wheel for added comfort. While all 2022 Ridgeline trim levels have Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the RTL trim also has SiriusXM satellite radio. Plus, an acoustic windshield and blind-spot monitoring are included.

If there is one additional package to consider, it is the HPD package. For $2,800, the Ridgeline gets bigger wheels, a bold grille, fender flares, and some additional HPD graphics to set it apart.

The 2022 Honda Ridgeline RTL-E adds on to some of the features included with the RTL. Those features include an upgraded audio system, LED daytime running lights, and some cool additions to the truck bed, including LED lighting. Honda also added a power outlet and four speakers to the bed, making it quite the tailgate-ready truck. But that’s not all. The RTL-E also has a 7.3-cubic foot in-bed trunk with a drain. You can fill that up and use it as a cooler for those football days!

This version of the Ridgeline truck also has automatic high beams for the headlights, parking sensors for the front and back of the truck, and a heated steering wheel. The 2022 Ridgeline also has wireless phone charging and satellite navigation. The pickup truck also has some extra physical features like chrome door handles, a compass, illuminated cupholders, and more.

Don’t overlook the Honda brand when it comes to satisfying pickup trucks

The 2022 Honda Ridgeline RTL-E Sport, or base trim, starts at $37,640. The Black Edition starts at $45,070 and comes with some cool Black Edition additions. Kelley Blue Book says that even though there are a few trim-level offerings, the trucks drive pretty uniformly across the board. All of the trim levels get a V6 with 280 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque.

“From the driver’s seat, it feels like you’re driving a Honda Passport SUV but with a bed behind you.”

It works as an excellent everyday commute truck thanks to the SUV-like experience, but with the capability of a truck. The 2022 Honda Ridgeline can tow 5,000 pounds and has a payload max of 1,583. No matter what kind of activities you want the Ridgeline to participate in, this truck seems ready to tackle it all.
