Connecticut man jokes about hitting a man twice with an SUV
43-year-old Jeremaih Vizzo is smiling in his mug shot. He was charged for allegedly running a man over twice with an SUV. As police officers confronted him about the matter, he laughed about it.
A 57-year-old was riding with Vizzo in a Lexus when they began to argue. The victim exited the Lexus and started to walk away when Vizzo started running him over multiple times.
Vizzo was caught in the Lexus on camera as he struck the victim multiple times on West Main Street, near Liberty Street.
According to the Stamford Advocate, the victim suffered a brain bleed and compound ankle fracture. He was rushed to the Stamford Hospital Intensive Care Unit.
The victim shared that he was in a Lexus SUV driven by a friend that he didn’t know very well. I don’t think they’re friends anymore. Most relationships don’t survive an attempted murder.
After the incident, Vizzo fled the scene, but police officers quickly executed a search warrant and tracked him down. He was brought in for questioning and admitted to intentionally hitting the pedestrian.
Vizzo was charged with first-degree assault, reckless operation, and felony evading responsibility. He is being held with a $75,000 court-set bond. Another woman was in the car but her identity and involvement are unknown.
