The Nissan Rogue isn’t scheduled to go on sale until later this year, but a few leaked photos offer an idea of what we might see. These images, revealed via Instagram, share several views of what is believed to be the 2021 Nissan Rogue announced last fall.

The Nissan Rogue continues to be a largely important vehicle for Nissan. It leads in Nissan consumer sales and satisfaction. Rogue owners love the zero gravity seats, 360 camera, and panoramic sunroof options. The exterior design and interior cabin were due for a model update. These leaked photos only make us more anxious to see this vehicle on the sales floor later this year.

On the exterior photos, we are seeing the updated v-shaped motion grille similar to other models in the Nissan lineup. It is an improved modern look. The headlight configuration look is entirely new. It is a considerable improvement on the existing Nissan Rogue.

The interior photos are really something to get excited about. We see some of the most significant changes here. It looks like we can anticipate a fairly substantial interior revamp.

The seats we see here are tailored with diamond stitching. The interior dash and door panels are fitted in a sophisticated two-toned aesthetic. You will also notice an updated flat bottomed steering wheel, similar to the Nissan Altima. The spacious seating that we’ve come to expect in previous generations appear to have been well maintained here.

Technology in the new Rogue looks like we could see a significant upgrade

If these pictures are accurate, we can expect the Rogue to match the technology currently offered in the Sentra, Kicks, and Titan design layout. Upgrades to feature of a tablet-style touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, and smartphone integration, will do a tremendous amount for customer retention and give new buyers a better comparison offering.

Nissan committed to a production date of 2021. With production halted in the U.S. due to the effects of coronavirus, it is yet to be seen if that happens. If it does, we won’t have to wait long to find out if these photos are, in fact, the real deal. The current Nissan Rogue is a favorite among consumers and those looking to upgrade into a current model year will likely be delighted by the new design.
