How much is a 2022 Mini Countryman?

The 2022 Mini Countryman price starts at $29,100 and goes up to $41,500. The 2022 Mini Countryman Cooper is the base model, and it starts at $29,950. That model comes with a turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine that makes 134 hp and 162 lb-ft of torque, according to Edmunds. It comes standard with front-wheel drive, but you can upgrade to all-wheel drive. The Mini Countryman Cooper’s engine is matched to a seven-speed automatic transmission.

The next trim level up is the 2022 Mini Countryman Cooper S, with a price of $32,750. The S accelerates better than the Cooper because of its 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that can put out 189 hp and 207 lb-ft of torque. As with the Cooper, if you upgrade to the all-wheel drive option, you’ll get an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The 2022 Mini Cooper Countryman John Cooper Works (JCW) has a turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 301 hp and 331 lb-ft of torque. This is by far the most powerful of the Mini Cooper SUV engines.

There are three trim levels for each model

Okay, so you’ve chosen the 2022 Mini Countryman SUV model you want. You’re done, right? No. There are three options for each Mini Countryman model: Classic, Signature, and Iconic. The Classic trim level includes alloy wheels, LED lights, roof rails, and rain-sensing windshield wipers. The Mini Countryman Classic also has heated mirrors, simulated leather, and keyless ignition. You’ll also get an 8.8-inch touchscreen, a panoramic sunroof, and lane departure warning.

The 2022 Mini Countryman Signature adds more paint color choices, wheels, and interior options. The Mini Countryman SIgnature also includes a power liftgate, passive keyless entry, and heated front seats. The Iconic trim level has larger wheels, power-folding mirrors, and a heated steering wheel. It also adds a programmable garage door opener, head-up display, and a premium sound system.

Is the Mini Countryman a big SUV?

Uh, no, the 2022 Mini Countryman is most certainly not a big SUV, but you probably guessed that by the “mini” in its name. Still, the Countryman is larger than other Mini Cooper SUVs, and if you really have your heart set on one, you might be happy with its additional room. The Mini Countryman can hold up to five adults, though Edmunds says that four will be more comfortable.

Storage space in the Mini Countryman isn’t great, of course, but it’s not terrible, either. With the seats up, the 2022 Mini Countryman can hold up to 17.6 cubic feet of stuff. If you put those seats down, that number becomes 47.6.

The 2022 Mini Countryman price is right for a tiny SUV with a whole lot of character, but that doesn’t mean its right for everyone. Its small stature makes it easy to navigate, but it might be nerve-wracking to face down a full-size SUV in it. Still, if you love the Mini Cooper SUVs, you have tons of options to customize it exactly as you want.
