The Wrangler is one of the best off-roading SUVs. Jeep has stepped up its game to bring the iconic vehicle into the modern era with a plug-in hybrid version, the 4xe. What do shoppers get with the base model and the highest trim with all the bells and whistles? And how much does a fully loaded 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe cost?

What do you get with the 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe’s base model?

While you might think of a two-door model when you think of a Jeep, the Wrangler 4xe is a four-door. The base-model Sport S starts at $49,995. It packs a 2.0-liter inline-four engine producing 270 hp. The electric motor setup increases that output to 375 hp total on a four-wheel drivetrain.

Paired with it is an eight-speed automatic transmission, enabling this PHEV to get 49 MPGe. When running on electric mode only, it gets an estimated 21 miles of driving range. And the engine and motor combined can go about 370 miles on one charge/fuel-up, according to Jeep

Performance features on the base-model 4xe include 20-inch machined aluminum wheels, all-season tires, leading link front suspension, and four-wheel disc brakes.

As for storage, the Sport S has a maximum of 67.4 cubic feet of cargo space. It also has illuminated cupholders and door-bin storage.

Other interior features are carpeted floor mats, deep window tint, dual-zone air conditioning in the front with an air filter, a leatherette steering wheel cover, a six-way adjustable driver’s seat, cloth upholstery, and an eight-speaker audio system.
