Give it up for the 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid. This new family SUV is quickly rising to fame as the fastest-selling new car.

According to iSeeCars, it sits on the market for about 9.2 days. Also, people pay an average of $56,396 to get behind the wheel.

The average new car sits at the dealership lot for about 22.7 days and is sold for roughly $43,205. So the Grand Highlander is doing something right to get people to spend more are a faster rate.

The Highlander could be creeping into the Toyota RAV’s territory. It’s by far the most popular Toyota SUV available, but it spends more time sitting pretty on the market.

The 2024 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid is 20th on the list of fastest-selling new cars. It sits on the market for about 25.2 days with an average cost of $39,649.

How many MPG does the Grand Highlander Hybrid get?

The 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid gets an EPA-estimated 37 mpg in the city and up to 34 mpg on the highway.

With the standard powertrain, you get a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that’s paired with two electric motors to generate 245 hp.

Upgrading to the Hybrid Max powertrain adds a third electric motor over the rear axle to provide 362 hp. Each model is AWD. Plus, the Grand Highlander Hybrid can tow up to 5,000 lbs.

The Grand Highlander may be more popular than the RAV4 because it’s larger, with a spacious third row. It’s more accommodating for growing families.

Plus, it’s modern and packed with luxurious value. The RAV4 is showing its age with an underwhelming interior quality. But sales patterns could change in the upcoming months, so stay tuned.
