The 2020 Buick Enclave comes standard with an 8.0-inch touchscreen and IntelliLink infotainment system that includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, according to Car and Driver. Also included are standard Wi-Fi hotspot capabilities and optional navigation, as well as two USB ports for every row of seats (six total).

Using Android Auto in the Buick Enclave

With Android Auto, your smartphone, and Bluetooth connectivity, Android Auto allows you to connect your smartphone to the Buick Enclave’s infotainment system. With Android Auto, you can listen to your music through Google Play Music, get directions via Google Maps, and more.

After connecting your Android smartphone to the Buick Infotainment System, it takes on the look and function of your device. This means you can access the same features of your phone from your Enclave’s touchscreen display.

According to Android, Android Auto allows you to access Google Assistant while you’re on the road, to ensure you keep your eyes on the road at all times. Google Assistant can call your friends, find the perfect route, play your music, or even check the weather of where you’re headed next.

Android Auto and Google Assistant even allow you to listen to your messages and respond back without having to touch a single button.

According to Buick’ss website, using Android Auto in the Enclave requires having the sibling app on your Android smartphone, as well as running an Android system 5.0 or higher. Keep in mind however that regular data plan rates apply when using Android Auto.

The Buick Enclave’s interior tech features are sophisticated and easy to use. Through the Buick Infotainment System, owners can download apps and even set up a personal profile to experience things like Connect Navigation.

But the Enclave also gives you built-in Spotify and Sirius XM radio. All Buick Enclave owners all get access to the MyBuick mobile app, which allows you to remotely lock or unlock your vehicle, as well as remotely start it.

According to Buick, the MyBuick mobile app can also activate the alarm and horn, send destinations to the navigation, locate your Enclave, check on the status of your vehicle, and even help you schedule your Enclave’s service appointments.

Meanwhile, the Enclave’s Wi-Fi hotspot can support up to seven devices up to 50 feet away. With the sophistication you’d expect from Buick, other cool tech features include QuietTuning technology with Active Noise Cancellation, which helps reduce and black unwanted noise, automatic heated and ventilated seating, an in-vehicle air ionizer, and even an optional wireless charging pad to help you enjoy the most out of your Enclave.

But Buick makes linking your digital life to your 2020 Buick Enclave better than ever, offering complimentary Connected Access to its owners for 10 years. Buick’s Connected Access elevates your experience and enables services like vehicle diagnostics, Buick Smart Driver, and marketplace access.

Remote Access as well as Unlimited Access is available for an additional fee every month and includes features like a remote key fob, vehicle locating capabilities, unlimited data, and connected navigation. Any way you slice it, the Buick Enclave has all the technology you could ever want in a car.
