Does Post Malone Have a G-Wagon?

One of American rapper Post Malone’s most well-known songs repeats the lyric: “G-Wagon, G-Wagon, G-Wagon…” But does he own one? According to one source, this Mercedes truck does not live in his garage. But he does own some pretty interesting cars. Let’s take a look at Post Malone’s car collection. But first, let’s put one …

But first, let’s put one important question to bed.

Is it G-Wagon or G-Wagen?

Technically it’s G-Wagen. But most in the US use G-Wagon for it’s more American spelling. According to this thread on a G-Wagon forum, even the US Mercedes brochures spell it G-Wagon. The G-Wagon, or Wagen, is a member of the Mercedes G-Class. The “Wagon” part of the name for G-Wagen comes from the German word Geländewagen. Which translates roughly to “all-terrain vehicle.”

But while the origin of the name for this upscale off-roader leads us to the G-Wagen spelling, the American G-Wagon spelling is also correct. So while technically it’s spelled G-Wagen because of the German derivative. G-Wagon is an entirely acceptable spelling for this Mercedes-Benz beast of an all-terrain wagon.

So, does Post Malone have a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon?

According to Drive Tribe, there is not a G-Wagon in Post Malone’s garage. He does have millions of dollars worth of wheels. His collection of toys is extrvagant as his collection of face tats. And it varies from an old Chevrolet pickup truck to a $3 million Bugatti.

The Chevy C-10

Equipped with an LS engine and a bagged suspension, the Chevrolet C-10 is probably the most unique car in Post Malone’s car collection. It has a very vintage feel with a rusty teal paint job. Post takes a drive in this vintage pickup truck every once in a while, and we can’t say we blame him. From the whitewall tires to the iconic antique grille, this old Chevy C-10 is flashy in its own right. No matter where this one is driven, it’s bound to get some looks. And that is something we are pretty sure Mr. Malone doesn’t mind at all.

A 2013 WRX STI

This one feels a little out of place. But it’s definitely still a cool car. In fact, one day these will probably be coveted classics. Post Malone’s Subaru WRX adds a little authenticity to his celebrity car collection.

A Rolls-Royce, and another

First, Post Malone’s car collection included a Rolls-Royce Wraith. But, then he crashed. But no worries––it sold for a hundred grand in a salvage auction. To replace this addition to his celebrity-status garage, Mr. Malone bought a nice new Rolls Royce Phantom to fill the space left by his wrecked Wraith.

A $3 million Bugatti Chiron

This is by far the most outrageous and expensive auto purchase that Post Malone has made. Well, as far as we know anyway. The Bugatti Chiron is one of the most exclusive cars in the world. According to Road Show the Bugatti Chiron is the fastest car on Earth, clocking over 300 miles per hour.

“As for power, the record-setting Chiron uses the same 8.0-liter, quad-turbo W16 engine found in the stock car, though it has the 1,600-horsepower tune of the Centodieci. Top Gear says the car’s gearbox and all-wheel-drive system are unchanged from the stock Chiron.”

Post Malone’s car collection

Joining the ranks of celebrity car collectors is like a rite of passage for any up and coming celebrity. And we can’t say that we hate Post Malone’s choices. But as far as having a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon, G-Wagon, G-Wagon goes, this celebrity garage is devoid of the lyricized off-roader.
