The longest-lasting SUV isn’t a hybrid

Additionally, the hybrid achieves 36 miles per gallon in the city and 35 miles per gallon on the highway, not too shabby for a midsize SUV.

The Toyota Highlander Hybrid is capable of lasting for over 200,000 miles, like its internal combustion engine counterpart. It has high reliability ratings and is considered one of the most reliable hybrid SUVs.

Toyota’s midsize hybrid SUV is a great choice for small families. It is incredibly efficient for its size and can stand the test of time. The 2023 Highlander Hybrid has a 17.1-gallon tank. It can travel for a whopping 607 miles on a single tank of gas.
