Toyota has the reliability part down, but the automaker has been working on making its SUVs more capable than ever. The Toyota TRD Pro trims come with upgraded performance parts and suspension but also add systems to make off-roading easier, no matter the terrain. Here are all of the Toyota SUVs with a TRD Pro trim in 2023, but there are a few additions. Some of the 2023 sport utility vehicles have a TRD Sport or Off-Road trim, and the trucks deserve a little recognition too. Check out the full lineup of Toyota TRD Pro models below.

Two Toyota SUVs are available with a TRD Pro trim in 2023

TRD stands for Toyota Racing Development, an in-house division focusing on tuning and performance. Upgraded wheels, suspension, and parts are usually custom-made for each model. For 2023, the Toyota SUVs with a TRD Pro Trim are the Sequoia and 4Runner. Out of seven crossovers and SUVs in the lineup, these are two of the largest vehicles. The 2023 Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro starts at $76,065 for this year. It gets 19 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway. Toyota also included 18-inch TRD Pro matte-black forged BBS wheels.

How much should you pay for the Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro?

The 2023 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro starts at $54,020, but there are a few other options with upgrades that might be a good alternative. People like the 2023 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro for its capability and long history of reliability. The 4Runner has a few TRD versions of the SUV: a TRD Sport, TRD Off-Road, TRD Off-Road Premium, and the top-of-the-line TRD Pro. The TRD Sport gets 20-inch wheels, SofTex-trimmed seats, and X-REAS Sport Enhancement Suspension. It also receives a TRD hood scoop, exterior badging, and gray lettering on the driver and front passenger headrests.

For the TRD Off-Road, this version gets Crawl Control (CRAWL), Multi-Terrain Select (MTS), and an electronic locking rear differential. It also gets Toyota’s Hill Start Assist Control (HAC) system and a 4×4 system for added utility.

The 2023 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro comes decked out with matte-black flow-form TRD alloy wheels, a stamped aluminum front skid plate, FOX high-performance shocks, 4×4, and TRD-tuned front springs. It also receives a roof rack and part-time four-wheel drive. Plenty of reasons to like this high trim level, especially if you want an SUV that does it all.

Toyota also offers the RAV4, Tundra, and Tacoma with these options

For those who might want a smaller sport utility vehicle, the RAV4 offers a TRD Off-Road trim for 2023. This version costs $37,595 and has special wheels, a TRD-tuned suspension, and upgraded shocks. These features help make the RAV4 more capable, especially for its size.

Two pickup trucks come with TRD Pro trims: the 2023 Toyota Tacoma and the 2023 Toyota Tundra. There is also a Tacoma TRD Sport and TRD Off-Road for this year.
