When we think of celebrities, we typically think that they’re either being driven around all the time or that they drive really fancy cars. However, not all are cars are created equal, nor are all celebrities are created equal, and some of them even drive inexpensive cars. And we’re not talking about $60,000 luxury sedans, we’re talking about Honda Fits and Odysseys. If you need proof, here are five celebrities that surprisingly drive Hondas.

Mark Zuckerberg – Honda Fit

Are you surprised that Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg drives a Honda Fit? We actually weren’t, considering he’s down-to-earth kind of guy and even dresses the part. While it’s safe to say that Honda’s fuel-efficient hatchback is most likely his daily driver, he does also own an Acura TSX and a Pagani Huayra. Are you surprised that he owns a Pagani as well? We weren’t, considering he can buy any car on the planet.

Chris Pine – Honda S2000

As if striking good looks and pretty good acting skills weren’t enough, Chris Pine also owns a Honda S2000. OK, so we’re not really jealous that the Star Trek and Wonder Woman star drives one of the best roadsters ever produced, but we do think it’s really cool and very fitting for his image. After all, it takes a specific type of person to drive an S2000. Not because it’s such an amazing car, but because the steering wheel can’t be adjusted and it’s very small, which means the driver can’t be too tall or too big. Great choice, Mr. Pine!

Jamie Lee Curtis – Honda FCX Clarity

OK, so this is really old news, but we’re going to count it anyway. Once upon a time, when Honda was leasing out the FCX Clarity, about 12 years ago, Jamie Lee Curtis got ahold of the second out of 200 that were leased out to California customers. While the current Clarity fuel-cell car does still exist and is currently able to be leased, the FCX Clarity was its predecessor and acted as a testbed for the fuel cell technology at the time. Jamie Lee Curtis now owns a Lexus RX Hybrid, but it’s cool that she dabbled in the Honda territory for a little while, or for at least 36 months.

Margaret Cho – Honda Fit

Whether you’re a fan of her comedy or not, you have to give Margaret Cho a little credit for driving a Honda Fit. Well, she used to drive a Honda Fit, she actually just lost it last year to her ex-husband, Al Ridenour, when they got divorced and she even had to cut him a $200,000 check. We’re not sure what’s worse; losing the money or the Honda Fit. After all, money comes and goes, but Hondas “last forever.”

Gwen Stefani – Honda Odyssey

As if we couldn’t love Gwen Stefani even more. Her dazzling looks, successful singing career, and musical judging talent make her quite the package. But to top it all off, she also owns a 2014 Honda Odyssey, in addition to many other SUVs. We always took Gwen Stefani as being a pragmatic celebrity, but her owning a reliable and practical Honda minivan makes her even more of a star in our eyes.

Nothing beats the power of a Honda

You have probably heard it before, but we’ll say it again; celebrities are human just like the rest of us. And just because they have a lot of money, it doesn’t mean that they all drive expensive luxury and sports cars. And whether you own a billion-dollar company or act in sci-fi remakes, practicality and efficiency can be more important than opulence, which is where nice and reliable Honda comes into play.
