The 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid starts at $27,970. It uses a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and three electric motors to make 196 horsepower and 152 lb-ft of torque. The subcompact SUV gets 45 miles per gallon in the city and 38 miles per gallon on the highway. It’s one of the most affordable hybrid SUVs in the industry.

The Toyota RAV4 Hybrid won’t break the bank

Hybrid SUVs can be much more expensive than internal combustion engine vehicles. The RAV4 Hybrid proves that hybrid vehicles don’t have to cost an arm and a leg.

The 2023 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid starts at $30,725. It uses a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and two electric motors to make 219 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. The RAV4 Hybrid achieves 41 miles per gallon in the city and 38 miles per gallon on the highway.

The hybrid SUV only costs $2,750 more than its internal combustion engine predecessor. The OG RAV4 may be much more popular today, but the RAV4 Hybrid could become the most popular SUV in the future because of its amazing fuel economy. It has the potential to save drivers thousands of dollars on fuel over a long period of ownership. A new RAV4 Hybrid is capable of lasting the average driver for 14 years or 200,000 miles of ownership.

The 2023 Toyota Venza is an affordable midsize hybrid SUV

The Toyota Venza is a great choice for families that find the RAV4 Hybrid to be too snug. It’s about six inches longer than Toyota’s small hybrid SUV model. The Venza is a midsize two-row hybrid SUV that gets incredible gas mileage. It starts at $34,120.

The 2023 Toyota Venza uses a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and three electric motors to make 219 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. It gets 40 miles per gallon in the city and 37 miles per gallon on the highway. The Venza has similar specs to the RAV4 Hybrid, it’s just more spacious.

Edmunds praises the midsize hybrid SUV’s refined interior and comfortable ride. It comes standard with wireless smartphone charging, a leather-trimmed steering wheel, and a smart key system with push-button start. It also comes with heated outside mirrors, touch-sensor lock door handles and liftgate, and a tire pressure monitor system.

Toyota has plenty of affordable hybrid SUV options for the average consumer. The brand’s hybrid SUVs are slowly taking over the industry.
