Consumer Reports gave the full-size pickup truck first place on the list of similar trucks. The Ram truck lineup is one of the more popular brands this year and many years in the past.

Don’t think the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is much cheaper to fill up

Last but not least is the 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. Consumer Reports found that the 2022 Silverado got 17 mph overall during testing. The full-size truck scored well during testing but didn’t have the best score for predicted reliability. The jury remains out on that one.

This rating also applies to the GMC Sierra 1500, which is mechanically identical. Both trucks have an estimated annual fuel cost of around $3,220.
