The 2022 Nissan Titan is relatively new for this year. It ranked fourth in the Consumer Reports full-size truck ranking, which is still pretty impressive. It received an overall score of 55 out of 100 and a 70 out of 100 for the road test. Both the predicted reliability and predicted owner satisfaction came in a bit below average. While the 2022 Ram 1500 came in first on the full-size pickup truck list, it already has a recall. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) issued a recall due to a faulty defrosting and defogging unit. This can decrease visibility and could increase the risk of a crash. Consumer Reports noted this truck to be quiet, comfortable, and roomy.

There are no current recalls for the 2022 Titan. Consumer Reports thought it had a “smooth and powerful engine,” a roomy cabin, and an easy-to-use gate.

Kelley Blue Bookhad positive things to say about the 2022 Ram 1500 and the 2022 Nissan Titan

When Kelley Blue Book ranked the 2022 Ram 1500, it received good marks from the experts. Kelley Blue Book notes that the Ram truck is relatively affordable, capable, and comfortable. It doesn’t offer as many driver convenience and safety features as the Ram. The full-size Ram truck has been around since 2009, which KBB considered a “con.”

Kelley Blue Book thought the 2022 Nissan Titan had more positives than negatives. The powerful V8 engine does a good job, but a diesel option would have been nice. Four-wheel-drive comes standard, as does a hefty warranty. The 2022 Titan also has a long list of advanced driver safety features, making it a good buy.
