The 2024 Tesla Model 3 marks the eighth model year for the marque’s entry-level electric vehicle (EV). However, in that time, Tesla hadn’t done much to change the appearance of the popular model. That’s not the case anymore; Tesla updated the diminutive EV with a sleek, squinted fascia and a new automotive lease on life.

What’s different about the 2024 Tesla Model 3?

The 2024 Tesla Model 3 wears a brave new face among several welcome updates. Of course, the most notable of the changes is the redesigned fascia, with a sleeker, more aggressive look. Headlamps are squinted compared to the previous model, with more dominant LED lighting.

Side styling is familiar, as is the rear. However, the taillamps are now a single-piece construction, meaning they rise with the trunk lid. Inside, customizable dash paneling, steering wheel-mounted turn signals, and an updated center console welcome occupants. Carwow reports that interior fit and finish are noticeably better, along with noise-deadening materials aplenty.

Regarding infotainment, a similarly-sized touchscreen dominates the cabin, albeit with a quicker, more compliant interface. Furthermore, fans should note the new Model 3’s 17-speaker audio system and all-new rear screen.

How far will the 2024 Tesla Model 3 drive on a single charge?

Tesla upgraded the new Model 3’s aerodynamic profile for more than just aesthetics. As a result, the Model 3’s drag coefficient drops by around 0.006, allowing it to cheat the air better than its predecessor. Fans can expect the Long Range AWD to get about 423 miles on a single charge.

However, the more affordable Standard RWD model will likely get closer to 346 miles of range, per carwow.

How fast will the new Tesla Model 3 go?

Considering Tesla didn’t do much to update the battery architecture or platform on the Long Range AWD or Performance models, acceleration will undoubtedly remain similar from pre-to-post-facelift models. Still, that’s not bad; the pre-facelift Performance trim could hit 60 mph in a blistering 3.1 seconds.

How much will the 2024 Tesla Model 3 cost?

Based on the latest model year and the EV’s new update, we estimate that the 2024 Tesla Model 3 will start at around $40,000 to $42,000. Further, fans can expect the Long Range AWD and Performance trims to demand a higher premium, likely pushing the $50,000 and $55,000 marks, respectively.
