Most midsize SUVs are tight and cramped in the third row, but not the Hyundai Palisade. This SUV includes ample legroom across all three rows and plenty of cargo space to make it easy to load up all the gear.

Behind the rear seat, you’ll find 18 cubic feet of space, which is good for regular grocery runs and a few backpacks. Fold that rearmost row, and 45.8 cubic feet of useable cargo room is available. With both rear rows down, the cabin measures 86.4 cubic feet, which is more than enough room to bring all the materials necessary for a weekend project.

The Hyundai Palisade is a midsize SUV with a serious focus on family hauling. This vehicle comes packed with standard features at a reasonable price, offering excellent value at every trim level. The upscale cabin, impressive passenger space, and smooth ride make families feel comfortable inside the Palisade.

The only drawback to this SUV is the mediocre gas mileage. The Palisade could benefit from a hybrid powertrain, but that’s a conversation for another day.
