We had the chance to drive the 2023 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy and were blown away by everything it offers. This three-row family SUV has everything a growing family could need, including a bevy of tech-savvy features and plenty of room. Let’s take a closer look at five of our favorite features on the Palisade Calligraphy.

1. The 2023 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy has a very upscale interior

Sit inside the 2023 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy, and you will surely be blown away by its upscale interior. There are Nappa leather seating surfaces, heated seats in all three rows, a heated steering wheel, and soft-touch surfaces everywhere. Even the headliner is covered in a suede material.

There’s also a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen that sits in the center of the dashboard that’s connected to a Harman Kardon premium sound system. Our only gripe is that Apple Carplay and Android Auto are not wireless, but we’ll give it a pass.

2. The third row is easy to access

Being able to access the third row in any large SUV is key, especially if you plan to use it a lot. Fortunately, getting into the third row in the Hyundai Palisade is as easy as pressing a button, which automatically folds the second-row seats forward. The top-trim Calligraphy model comes with second-row captain’s chairs, so third-row occupants can also get in through the opening between them.

3. There’s plenty of cargo room for everyone’s stuff

In addition to being able to seat up to seven passengers, the Hyundai Palisade has plenty of cargo room. How much room? According to Hyundai, the Palisade has 18 cubic feet of space behind the third row, which is about enough for a few carry-on suitcases stacked up. However, with the touch of a couple of buttons, the second and third-row seats can be folded to reveal up to 86.4 cubic feet, which is almost cargo-van-like.

4. There are plenty of tech features to be found in the cabin

As we mentioned before, every row in the 2023 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy has heated seats. But wait, there’s more! There are plenty of USB ports around the cabin, including in the front seats, so they are easily accessible by the second-row passengers.

There’s also a household 115-volt outlet in the second row, as well as an automatic climate control system. Lastly, there are more USB ports in the third row, WiFi, a wireless charging pad, and a head-up display for the driver.

5. The Hyundai Palisade is well-priced

Our last favorite feature isn’t really a feature. However, we feel that the 2023 Hyundai Palisade’s price is worth pointing out since it shows how much value this SUV brings to the table. Our tester for the week came in at $52,310, which is cheap compared to an equivalent Cadillac or German SUV. Buyers seeking something cheaper can look at the lower Palisade trim levels, which start at around $35,000.
