All Three 2021 Nissan Sentra Trims are Affordable Options

The 2021 Nissan Sentra is one of the most affordable new sedans on the market, and even the mid-level and highest trim level are modestly priced and well packages with options, features, and safety tech that can fit the needs and wants of most drivers looking for a sedan in this price range.

The 2021 Nissan Sentra is one of the most affordable sedans that you can find on the new car market. While many cars that come highly rated and recommended by reviewers can be affordable, too, it isn’t uncommon for the higher, more expensive trim levels of the model to be the variation that is recommended. Luckily for the Nissan Sentra, however, all of the trim level options are within a relatively tight spread of prices, making them all affordable options.

The base model 2021 Nissan Sentra

The base model 2021 Nissan Sentra is the S trim, which can seem a bit misconceiving. If you’re looking for one of the most affordable options on the market that doesn’t sacrifice reliability or comfort, it doesn’t get much better than the Nissan Sentra. The base model S variation is the cheapest, with a modest sticker price of $20,875.

The new Sentra comes with a handful of safety features and driving aids which make it worth buying new. The 2021 model year is also the first year that Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are finally available for the sedan and comes standard on all trim levels.

Speaking of standard safety features, the base model 2021 Nissan Sentra starts off with all of the basics that you can find on the higher trim levels, too. This includes blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, and lane-departure warnings.

The middle-tier SV trim level

If you check out Edmunds, you can see that the SV trim level is the version of the 2021 Nissan Sentra that comes recommended by their reviewers. It is just one step above the base model S in every way possible. You can get this mid-tier trim for an ever so slight bump in price, $22,135, and with that, you do get quite a bit more out of the car.

Along with standard driving aids, the SV comes with adaptive cruise control and rear disk braking for better braking. This package also upgrades the interior with leather upholstery, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a heated steering wheel, and dual-zone climate controls.

What is the highest trim level option for the Nissan Sentra?

The highest trim level option for the 2021 Nissan Sentra is the SR, which costs about $23,930 — just three thousand dollars more than the base model. Along with all of the standard tech and safety features that the lower trim levels offer, the SR offers LED headlights and taillights, upgraded exterior package, and a spoiler.

The SR also has a Premium package available, which offers an upgraded sound system, sunroof, surround-view parking camera system, simulated leather, and NissanConnect connectivity with WiFi and hotspot service.
