Are you always in search of an empty cupholder in your current ride? Cupholders almost seem like an afterthought in many cars unless they’re limos or custom vehicles. Not so in the vehicles listed below! These production models all have more than 10 handy places to stash a drink.

Cupholders may not be high on your list of must-have car accessories when you’re looking at vehicles to buy, but you’ll probably change your mind once you hit the road in your car of choice. Just ask racecar legend Danica Patrick. She actually sold her Lamborghini Gallardo because of its lack of cupholders.

10 vehicles with more than 10 cupholders

Back in January 2021, Motor and Wheels listed 11 cars that had “lots of cupholders” at up to 12 each. Think 12 is extravagant? The vehicles on this list start at 13 and only get more. Keep reading to discover which cars are the most generous with this often-overlooked yet functional feature. They’re listed from the least number of cupholders to the most.

10. Lincoln Navigator

The Lincoln Navigator full-size luxury SUV comes in at #10 with a mere 13 cupholders, which is surprisingly low for a luxury vehicle of its size.

 9. Infiniti QX80

Tied for last place (on our list) with the Navigator is the Infiniti QX80 full-size luxury SUV. Its newly upgraded interior includes 13 cupholders and some badly needed updated technology.

8. Nissan Titan

The versatile, good-looking, and highly functional Nissan Titan full-size pickup truck bumps things up a notch with 14 cupholders.

7. Honda Odyssey

The Honda Odyssey minivan is one of two vehicles on the list with 15 places for your drinks. In the 2021 Motor and Wheels report, the Odyssey was ahead of its minivan competitor, the Toyota Sienna. However, it now trails pretty far behind its rival, at least as far as cupholders go.

6. Ford Expedition

The other vehicle with 15 cupholders, the Ford Expedition full-size SUV, is renowned as a family hauler. So, it makes sense that its interior would give thirsty family members plenty of places to keep their drinks.

5. Honda Pilot

Another step above the pack regarding room for drinks is the sometimes unreliable Honda Pilot midsize SUV with 16.

4. Nissan Pathfinder

Matching the Honda Pilot at 16 spots is the spacious and comfortable, family-friendly Nissan Pathfinder midsize SUV.

3. Volkswagen Atlas

If you thought 16 was mindblowing, you haven’t seen anything yet. At third place in our list is the massive Volkswagen Atlas full-size SUV with 17 cupholders. However, while the Atlas used to be the king of this category, it’s now outpaced by two other models.

2. Toyota Sienna

Now we’re approaching the top at 18 cupholders in the Toyota Sienna minivan. Those 18 drink spots are just the beginning of the Sienna’s storage options. Everywhere you look, there are shelves, bins, cubbies, and other opportunities to stash your stuff. Check out the Autoblog page of photos of this practical minivan’s amazing storage.

1. Subaru Ascent

At the top of the list is the Subaru Ascent midsize SUV with an incredible 19 cupholders! With that many cupholders, you might think there wouldn’t be room for many other amenities. Fortunately, that’s not the case with the Ascent. It both looks and feels luxurious, even though it isn’t classed as a luxury SUV. Unfortunately, even 19 cupholders can’t offset the Ascent’s reported reliability issues.

According to TempoTopaz, cupholders weren’t even really a thing until Chrysler installed them in its 1984 Plymouth Voyager minivan. Those early cupholders were mere depressions in the plastic center consoles, barely large enough to hold 12-ounce coffee cups. Things have certainly changed in the nearly three decades since!
