The Christopher Nolan/Christian Bale Batman trilogy defined an era for a lot of us. The gnarly, off-road-ready Tumbler Batmobile still holds a special place in my heart. But would I spend Bugatti money on a replica? Probably not. Warner Bros. is hoping at least 10 wannabe Bruce Waynes feel differently.

Here at MotorBiscuit, we’ve covered multiple Batmobile Tumbler replicas over the years. Enthusiast Jay Leno even reviewed the original movie prop cars. The Tumbler wasn’t exactly the vintage-car fan’s speed. But he admitted it’s a unique machine handmade by talented craftspeople. Warner Bros. may have taken his praise a bit too seriously.

According to CNBC, the merger between WarnerMedia and Discovery left the company about $40 billion in debt. The CEO says anything is on the table “to unlock the full value of our assets.” Apparently that includes selling cars.

A $3 million Batmobile, built for collectors

To that end, the company just launched the BruceWayneX.com website. It’s advertising a “Limited production of 10 Wayne Enterprises Tumblers.” These aren’t movie-used vehicles. They’re newly built replicas. Warner Bros. hopes its licensing will attract “An exclusive audience of avid car collectors.”

How exclusive? The MSRP is $2,990,000.

Here are the other specs:

  • Powertrain: 6.2L LS3 525 HP engine with 486 ft-lbs of torque
  • GM 4L85E transmission with paddle shift
  • 5,511 lbs curb weight
  • Seating for two
  • Kevlar, carbon fiber, sheet metal, fiberglass
  • Wheels — Front: 15.0/94-15; Rear: 18.5/44-16.5
  • Smoke screen delivery system
  • Imitation gun turrets (non-operational)

Warner Bros. says it’s only selling the Tumblers “by invitation.” But it also includes a contact form so anyone can throw their name into the ring. It doesn’t sound like the company will turn down your cash. You can see the Jay Leno review embedded below:
