The 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy starts by setting itself apart. It has a unique dark chrome grille design, 20-inch wheels, and sliver skid plates in the front and rear. Upgraded LED headlights increase visibility too.

The interior features upgraded quilted Nappa leather upholstery with quilted accent stitching, a perforated leather steering wheel, an eco-suede headliner, configurable ambient lighting, and a head-up display.

Plus, it has the upgraded turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 281 hp and 311 lb-ft of torque. It allows the Santa Fe to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about 6.6 seconds and tow up to 3,500 lbs.

Is the Santa Fe Calligraphy interior nice?

The 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy interior has a premium, upscale feel due to simple luxury touches. For example, the quilty leather design on the seats and door sides pop with accent stitching and an attractive triangular pattern.

Plus, authentic premium leather is soft to the touch while seeming durable and scratch resistant. The LED ambient lighting is bright enough to spot during the day, and the grey suede headliner is plush.

The layout is simple, and each button is clearly labeled. There are well-planned storage cubbies around the front, including an open tunnel in front of the center console. The wireless phone charging pad is in a space-saving location beside the cup holders, and it keeps your phone secure. But the cup holders are narrow!

Visibility is excellent thanks to a large windshield, but we’re still not over the massive panoramic moonroof. It has the perfect tint to be enjoyable at all times and provides an excellent view of the sky from each seat.

Different users can save their driver seat settings and make custom profiles. However, the seat automatically slides back and forth upon entering and exiting the vehicle. There are plenty of small reminders about your ride too. The floor mats and door kick plates have the Santa Fe logo.

The 2023 Santa Fe is for tech lovers

The 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy has unique and innovative tech features. For example, the head-up display changes the color around the speed limit if you’re going over it. If it’s red, then you’re going way too fast.

If you’re stopped at a red light, the Santa Fe beeps at you once the vehicle in front of you pulls away. This helps you stay focused and can help you avoid getting honked at.

If you turn on the windshield wipers, then you can see a menu in the head-up display to adjust your wiper speed. This is the first SUV we’ve seen with this feature. The rest leave you to click and turn dials blindly!

The infotainment system has a broadcast feature, allowing you to project your voice across each speaker. Plus, the quiet mode limits speaker volume to 25. The 2023 Santa Fe doesn’t have the sounds of nature, which are excellent in other Hyundai models.

There are tons of safety features such as a rear seat reminder, lane keeping assist, and driver attention warning. If the features are annoying with too many beeps, then it’s easy to turn them off.

Overall the 2023 Santa Fe Calligraphy trim has an impressive premium build and robust build quality that’s accented by attention to detail. The clever little things to enhance user experience and comfort make a tremendous difference.
