The 2011 GMC Terrain crossover SUV has engine problems. Not only is the 2011 model year the worst, but it also has the most GMC Terrain complaints overall. In fact, it’s also the model year with the most-reported problem.

For the Terrain, the most common issue is excessive oil consumption. According to CarComplaints, this problem can cost upwards of $5,100 to repair. For these reasons, the GMC Terrain crossover SUV is second among the most complained about GMC crossover SUVs.

The GMC Acadia

A popular crossover with available third row seating, the GMC Acadia crossover SUV is popular, but not perfect. There are 702 GMC Acadia complaints filed on CarComplaints.com. This model is the most complained about GMC crossover SUV.

The worst model year is posted as 2008. This model experiences the difficulty of transmission problems. Plus, these issues can cost around $3,700 to fix.

It’s also the model year with the most Acadia complaints overall. The 2008 GMC Acadia crossover SUV is, additionally, the model year with the most-reported problem. The most-reported problem for the Acadia is transmission failure. Needless to say, some of these older GMC Acadia crossover SUV models have some trouble with the transmission.
