There is some serious hype surrounding Ram trucks and the new hurricane engine. However, the Ram 1500 RHO debuted feeling a bit short compared to the Ford F-150 Raptor. It just didn’t get loud. However, now MagnaFlow exhaust is here to turn it up.

The Ram 1500 RHO gets loud with a MagnaFlow exhaust

Did you know that the Ram 1500 TRX comes with a quiet mode? That’s because that monster truck has an extremely loud engine.

The Ram 1500 RHO was positioned to replace the TRX until Stellantis recently announced the return of the HEMI V8 engine. While the RHO is impressive, this truck just wasn’t exciting drivers like the TRX or Ford F-150 Raptor.

That’s because it was proud, just not loud. Stellantis debuts two MagnaFlow exhaust options to “Crank it to 11”. The SPEQ Series Cat-Back Performance Exhaust and customizable xMOD Series Cat-Back Performance Exhaust systems improve sound, flow, and performance.

Ram Brand CEO, Tim Kuniskis, explained that customers wanted more attitude from the RHO and Ram is here to deliver. He continued to share that performance isn’t just about horsepower and torque. It’s about a full sensory experience.

The RHO features the Hurricane High Output straight-six turbo engine with 540 hp and 521 lb-ft of torque. Both exhaust options have a three-inch, mandrel-bent, stainless steel construction.

They also share MagnaFLow No Drone Technology (NDT) passive noise cancellation and a dual exit design with aggressive five-inch black chrome tips. The systems are available via the Mopar eStore or local dealerships.
