World-famous chef and reality TV star Gordon Ramsay is known for his angry tirades toward people on his television show Hell’s Kitchen, so it makes sense that he needs an outlet for that energy off of the TV set. Well, it turns out that he’s a huge car nut.

He recently took to the racetrack, armed with all of his U.K.-based cars — implying he has even more elsewhere — and put a few of them through their paces. Let’s take a look at the few he drove himself.

Gordon Ramsay’s Porsche 918 Spyder

Ramsay’s bright blue Porsche 918 Spyder is a thing of beauty. It has a 4.7L V8 engine that can get from 0-60 mph in 2.5 seconds. It’s additionally powered by two electric motors.

Ramsay took this one around the track himself, saying that the ride kept getting “better and better and better.” We can’t argue with that. The Porsche 918 Spyder is one of the fastest hybrid cars available, and it’s no wonder why Ramsay needed one in his personal collection.

“Every time I sit inside this incredible car, it gives me chills.” That’s what Ramsay has to say about his LaFerrari Aperta. With only 200 made worldwide, it’s next-level impressive that Ramsay even has one in his collection, let alone that he’s able to take it out for a spin on a racetrack.

This rare beauty is equipped with a unique Ferrari F140 V12 engine and is capable of getting from 0-60 mph in 2.2 seconds. It’s a mild hybrid hypercar, and brings excitement to the car scene with the popularity of hypercars going green.

McLaren Senna

While Gordon Ramsay enjoyed driving the other two speedsters on the racetrack, his favorite was by far his McLaren Senna. Of the Senna, he says, “It’s like driving the fastest roller coaster you’ve ever been on.”

Car and Driver tested out the Senna and found it to get from 0-100 mph in only 5.1 seconds. It’s equipped with a 4.0L V8 engine that gets 789 horsepower, more than most of its competition.

Ramsay’s black and yellow Senna is one of only 500 made in the world. Climbing out of it after his ride, Ramsay gives it a kiss and says, “That is insane.” It’s clearly his favorite of the day, and we’re sure he’ll find it hard to keep in the garage after this (it is street-legal, after all!). We couldn’t be more envious.

What else is tucked away in Gordon Ramsay’s car collection?

While most people only know about Ramsay’s love of food, what else does he have a love for in his garage? One of the first cars he bought after becoming a successful chef was the Porsche 911 Turbo. He also has a Bentley Continental GT and an Aston Martin DB7. But where his true love lies is with Ferrari.

The majority of Ramsay’s personal collection of cars are Ferraris. Not only does he have the LaFerrari Aperta, but he also has the non-convertible version, the LaFerrari. He favors his Ferrari California T quite frequently.

He also owns a 612 Scaglietti, a 458 Italia, an 812 Superfast, and an F12 Berlinetta. It’s clear that Ramsay simply loves to go fast. Most of the Ferrari models he owns are rare and exclusive, and it’s not likely many people have seen any of them being driven around any time soon.

But perhaps now that Ramsay had his afternoon on the racetrack, he may break a few of them out of his garage more often. It’s clear his passions lie well outside of the kitchen, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to see some of it.
