The Mazda3 Hatchback provides more versatility and utility than the sedan version of this iconic compact car. Though most shoppers want practical features, Mazda offers various Mazda3 Hatchback trims and options to suit consumer tastes. For buyers desiring every bell and whistle, here’s how much a fully loaded 2024 Mazda3 Hatchback costs.

Here’s what comes with the 2024 Mazda3 Hatchback base model

Mazda offers five trims for the 2024 Mazda3 Hatchback. The base model is the Select Sport, starting at about $25,700. It has a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine making 191 hp and 186 lb-ft of torque and a six-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is the only drivetrain on this standard trim.

This setup allows the hatchback to get 26 mpg in the city, 36 mpg on the highway, and 30 mpg combined.

As for the interior, the base model boasts a few features that put it above other hatchbacks. The car seats five on attractive leatherette upholstery. In addition, the steering wheel is wrapped in genuine leather. The seats are comfortable and spacious, and the roomy trunk has 20.1 cubic feet of cargo space.

A big difference between the Mazda3 Hatchback and most other affordable compact cars is the tech. This hatchback has an 8.8-inch infotainment screen, but unlike most modern cars, it isn’t a touchscreen. The car also has a 7.0-inch digital gauge cluster display and a long list of advanced safety features, including a blind-spot monitoring system.

A fully loaded 2024 Mazda3 Hatchback trim has many additional features

This Mazda hatchback’s top trim level is the Premium Plus, starting at about $36,700. One of its most significant upgrades is under the hood — a 2.5-liter turbo-four harnessing 227 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque. Unlike the standard trim, all-wheel drive is the only option for the top trim. This powertrain allows the 2024 Mazda3 Hatchback to get 23 mpg in the city, 31 mpg on the highway, and 26 mpg combined.

In addition, the Premium Plus has a moonroof and a rear roof spoiler. However, the bigger upgrades are in the cabin. For example, the range-topping 2024 Mazda3 Hatchback boasts perforated leather upholstery, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel. Mazda also gave it a 12-speaker premium sound system and a larger 10.25-inch infotainment screen. This trim also gets more advanced driver-assistance systems, such as traffic sign recognition.

Also, the Premium Plus trim has access to options and accessories that further upgrade the car. With all bells and whistles added, a fully loaded 2024 Mazda3 Hatchback costs upward of $44,000.

Here are some of the options and accessories and their prices

On top of the Premium Plus’ $36,700 starting price, the Japanese automaker offers plenty of options that buyers can add to the interior and exterior of the 2024 Mazda3 Hatchback.

For instance, shoppers can pay up to $600 for premium exterior paint options like Soul Red Crystal Metallic. They can also add crossbars to the hatchback’s roof for $370, rear splash guards for $200, and other exterior options.

On the inside, customers can add a wireless phone charging pad for $400. There’s also a handful of cargo-related accessories. A cargo block goes for $50, a cargo net is $60, and a cargo tray costs $100.
