Virginia family says Metallica saved their lives as truck smashes their home
Do you believe in the power of ROCK? One family does after giving Metallic credit for saving their lives. Without their concert, the family would have been in the room when a massive truck busted through the wall.
Virginia family thanks Metallica for saving them from a truck crash
The McKee family from Goodview, Virginia is crediting Metallica with saving their lives. They decided to change uptheir regular schedule to catch a show at the Lane Stadium in Blacksburg, VA.
To prepare for the concert, the parents, David and Kristin decided to get some rest. Instead of staying up in the living room to watch TV, they went to bed. They were excited to introduce their daughter to the band the next day.
Then a massive pickup truck slammed through the living room around 2 AM. According to The PRP, they would have been awake and using the room if they hadn’t decide to catch the show.
A massive Ford heavy-duty truck landed halfway in the room, causing bricks and other debris to litter the area. Then firefighters and police officers immediately arrived on scene.
Due to all of the chaos and damage, the family never made it to the concert, but they thank Metallica for saving their lives.
I would love to see the police report for this incident. How fast was the truck going before it slammed through the front of the house? Did the driver even try to slow down? Also, was the driver operating under the influence?
Did Metallica hear about this? In my humble opinion, the family deserves a new set of tickets.
