Every 2025 Ford F-150 Trim Level Explained
It’s time for those end-of-the-year truck sales! But there are so many Ford F-150 trim levels to consider. F-150 trims include everything from the work truck basics to lavish, luxury comfort. Plus, there are six engines available. So, let’s break it all down.
Every 2025 Ford F-150 trim level
First of all, every trim level but the F-150 Tremor, Raptor, and Raptor R can be paired with the hybrid engine. The PowerBoost engine pairs the 3.5-liter V6 unit with an electric motor and a battery pack to generate 430 hp and 570 lb-ft of torque.
With the hybrid engine, the F-150 can tow up to 11,600 lbs and carry a payload of up to 1,740 lbs. It’s available with the Pro Power Onboard generator.
Also, the cab sizes include Regular, SuperCab, and CrewCab. Three bed lengths include 5.5 ft, 6.5 ft, and 8.0 ft, depending on trim level and configuration.
1. Ford F-150 XL

MSRP – $38,810
The Ford F-150 XL trim starts the party with a standard 2.7-liter V6 EcoBoost engine that cranks out 325 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque. This engine helps the F-150 tow up to 8,4000 lb and carry a payload of up to 1,775 lbs.

2. Ford F-150 STX

The STX builds upon the XL model with 20-inch wheels and carpeted flooring. But it’s available with more packages and custom options. For example, you can go for 18-inch gloss black-painted wheels, sport cloth seats, or the FX4 off-roading package.
It’s also available with the Ford F-150 Lobo package, which essentially turns the F-150 into a street truck. It can tow the same amount as the XL model with the standard engine.
But it’s also available with the 5.0-liter V8 engine with 400 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque. This engine helps the F-150 tow up to 12,900 lbs and carry a payload of up to 2,225 lbs.
3. Ford F-150 XLT

MSRP – $44,695
The 2025 Ford F-150 XLT has the standard 2.7-liter engine. But you can go for the hybrid engine or the 5.0-liter engine.
Also, the 3.5-liter V6 engine is available. It provides 382 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque. This engine has the best-in-class tow rating of up to 13,500 lbs and can carry a payload of up to 2,400 lbs.
It builds upon the STX by adding:

4. Ford F-150 Lariat

7. Ford F-150 Platinum

The F-150 Platinum has the standard 3.5-liter engine, and the hybrid powertrain is available. It’s the most luxurious trim level available without massive upgrades for off-roading.
It builds upon the King Ranch with:

8. Ford F-150 Raptor

MSRP – $79,005
The 2025 Ford F-150 Raptor is ready to roar with the standard High Output EcoBoost 3.5-liter engine with 450 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque. With this engine, the F-150 can tow up to 8,200 lbs and carry a payload of up to 1,410 lbs.
But you can upgrade to the 5.2-liter supercharged V8 for 720 hp and 640 lb-ft of torque. It can tow up to 8,700 lbs and carry a payload of up to 1,400 lbs.
