Things are already hurting your wallet enough, but the Ford F-150 Tremor isn’t going to help. Some F-150 options are on the chopping block, including the cheapest 2023 Ford F-150 Tremor build. See what the Tremor package will cost.

How much is the 2023 Ford F-150 tremor?

The 2023 Ford F-150 Tremor has an MSRP of $60,110. It’s supposed to be a cheaper alternative to the Ford F-150 Raptor, which starts at $69,905. Saving over $9,000 is nice, and it does seem affordable compared to the Ford F-150 Raptor R, that starts at $109,145.

However, paying $60k for an off-roading truck still seems astronomically high. It just dropped the standard 400A equipment group, causing the price to increase by nearly $6,000. According to Ford Authority, now the Tremor starts with the mid-level 401A equipment group.

If you want to skip all the bells and whistles, you can save with the Ford F-150 Rattler trim. It starts at about $39,200 for the 2022 model year. However, we wouldn’t be surprised if the price increases by a few hundred bucks for 2023.

What comes with the 2023 F-150 Tremor?

On an exciting note, the 2023 Ford F-150 Tremor comes standard with the 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine. It cranks out 400 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque. But the 3.5-liter Hybrid V6 engine cranks out 400 hp and 570 lb-ft of torque.

The F-150 Tremor rides on 18-inch matte-finish wheels wrapped in 33-inch General Grabber all-terrain tires. It has a locking rear differential and an optional Torsen limited-slip front differential.

Plus, it has Raptor-inspired skid plates, Tremorspecificic monotube shocks in the front, twin-tube rear shocks, enhanced front hub knuckles, and revised upper control arms. There is an additional one inch of travel in the rear and 1.5-inches of travel in the rear.

The Tremor has a unique look with a blacked-out Ford oval on the grille with orange accents. There are two Active Orange tow hooks in the front and rear, along with fixed off-roading running boards.

There is a cutout rear bumper with a high-flow dual exhaust and plenty of orange Tremor badging to complete the look. Rock Crawl mode is standard, but Trail turn Assist and Trail Control modes are optional.

The 401A equipment group adds heated seats, an 8-inch digital gauge cluster, LED headlights, and Active Orange accent stitching.

Is the Tremor better than the Rattler?

The Ford F-150 Tremor can go further in the wild than the Ford F-150 Rattler. The Rattler is advisable with the base XL F-150 trim and builds upon the FX4 package with 18-inch wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires and an upgraded dual-exhaust system.

With the FX4 package, you get skid plates, off-road-tuned shocks, a transfer case, and a front locking differential. Hill descent control and Rock Crawl mode are also included.

While the Tremor package is a little more durable and capable than the Rattler, the Rattler can still conquer the woods. It just might not go as far. Also, it costs about $1,200 to add the FX4 package to a 2022 F-150 model.
