Don’t settle for SUV mediocrity. The Hyundai Kona already oozes value and a unique style to make daily driving more exciting. However, the 2024 Hyundai Kona N-Line takes things to the next level without breaking the bank.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Kona N-Line worth buying?

Yes, the 2024 Hyundai Kona N-Line is worth buying if you’re in the market for a comfortable SUV that’s fun to drive while still being affordable. The Kona N-Line starts at $32,175 with the destination fee included.

Upgrading to the N-Line model includes:

  • 19-inch alloy wheels
  • Dual Zone automatic climate control
  • Ambient interior lighting
  • Rear air vents
  • A power-adjustable driver’s seat
  • Roof rails
  • A digital gauge cluster
  • A 12.3-inch infotainment system
  • Heated front seats
  • Built-in navigation
  • A wireless phone charging pad
  • Digital key capability
  • Adaptive cruise control
  • A sunroof
  • A unique wheel design
  • Racing-style appearance upgrades
  • Microsuede seat inserts
  • An eight-speaker Bose premium audio system

Plus, you get more power. The Kona N-Line sports a standard turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with 190 hp 195 lb-ft of torque. It’s paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about 7.3 seconds. While this won’t blow your hair back, it’s fast enough to put a smile on your face.

This speed is excellent for the class. Plus, this is a great amount of power for passing others and merging into traffic.

The handling is responsive, the brakes are confident, and the acceleration provides a smooth power delivery. Use the paddle shifters for precise gear changes and turn up the fun sport mode.

Best of all, the 17.4-inch turning radius is super convenient for navigation-tight areas. But visibility is a bit limited due to a small rear window and the lack of a 360-degree camera view.

I really admire the unique look that the 2024 Hyundai Kona N-Line has to offer. The black spoiler on the rear promotes confidence with a more aggressive style. Plus the roof rales, mirror caps, and bumpers are black.

The tires are eye-catching with a muscular yet futuristic design. The Kona N-Line pays attention to detail with N-Line badging on the tires, and side of the vehicle, and it’s embroidered into the headrests.

The interior features checkered scuff plates, metal pedals, and bright red accents that pop against black interior upholstery around the dash and door sides. Plus, the black upholstery features bright red accent stitching.

You and your passengers will be comfortable in the Kona N-Line thanks to the well-padded and supportive seats in each row. The front seats lay flat for peaceful napping opportunities. Rear passengers benefit from a comfortable backrest angle.

The Kona N-Line has a relatively quiet interior with an average amount of wind and road noise. You do hear an occasional engine buzz, but it sounds deep and throaty.

While the lack of a head-up display is surprising, the digital gauge cluster provides all the information you need, including navigation steps. Other unique tech features include the weather app and sounds of nature.

I know this 2024 Hyundai Kona N-Line article sounds like this spunky SUV is perfect, but it’s not. Stay tuned for my list of pros and cons.

A few notable issues involve connectivity problems, a lack of premium features even if it keeps the price down, and a lack of visibility.
