For the 2022 model year, Buick gave the Enclave a refresh, and that refresh changed a lot about the vehicle. As a result of that refresh, anyone expecting Buick to provide the Enclave with more significant changes in the 2023 model year will be disappointed, as Buick changed barely anything. Here’s a look at the 2023 Buick Enclave and the little things Buick did change about the car.

An overview of the 2023 Buick Enclave

Since the 2023 version of the Buick Enclave is essentially the same as the 2022 version, its features were also unchanged. According to Kelley Blue Book, the Enclave will start at a price tag of about $43,000. A fully loaded version of the Buick SUV will cost customers upwards of $60,000. With that being said, since the Enclave is a luxury SUV, that price tag will afford customers quite a few premium features.

The first two rows of seats are where the Enclave shines, as they come with two captain’s chairs. This gives passengers a comfortable and spacious leather seat with a lot of legroom and headroom. On top of that, KBB wrote that the standard Enclave comes with heated front seats as standard and a standard heated leather steering wheel. However, the third-row seats will be more cramped.

The Buick’s size will allow it to carry a lot of cargo, as it has  23.6 cu. ft. of cargo capacity without folding any seats, 57.7 cu. ft. with the third row folded down, and 97.4 cu. ft. when the second and third rows are folded down. In terms of tech, the standard Enclave has a few smart safety features, such as lane-keeping assist and forward collision warning, among others.

The Enclave only has one engine option, and it’s a 3.6-liter V6 that gets 310 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque. This engine provides plenty of thrust to the car, allowing the Buick SUV to be agile on the road. Its fuel economy won’t be great, though, as it’ll get 18 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on highways, for 22 mpg combined.

The 2023 Buick Enclave Sport Touring Edition has new wheels

One of the few changes that Buick gave to the Enclave is exclusive to the Sport Touring Edition, which is a package that’s only offered on one trim of the Buick SUV. This package is only currently offered on the Essence trim, which is the standard trim for the Enclave, according to Kelley Blue Book. Like its name might imply, this package mainly upgrades the car to look more sporty. It gets a unique and sporty front grille and some new door handles.

For the 2023 model year, Buick is giving this option package some new 20-inch gloss-black wheels. However, this option package will not upgrade the car’s performance characteristics at all. Everything else offered with this package is the same as it was for the 2022 model year.

This is the only other new thing for the 2023 Enclave

Buick changed one other thing for the 2023 model year. Unfortunately, it’s another minimal change that will not affect most customers. Unlike the Sport Touring Edition, though, this change will be available on other trims.

The problem is that this change is simply a new paint option. The Buick Enclave offers the Moonstone Gray Metallic option for customers if they want it. Like many paint job options, though, this new one won’t be free to add on.
